Michelle Harvey graduated from Lewis University in 2008 with her Bachelors in Psychology and Minor in Sociology. Post graduation, she began her career in the mental health field working at an outpatient private practice as the front desk administrative professional, managing intake phone calls, insurance benefits and payroll for 2 years. She then transitioned to direct patient care in the hospital setting, eventually working with patients of all ages at Hartgrove Hospital, Timberline Knolls and Linden Oaks Hospital as a Behavioral Health Associate. In 2013, Michelle was promoted as an Admission Planner at Linden Oaks to oversee initial authorizations and transfers. In 2016, she was promoted again as the Business Office Supervisor of the Intake Department at Linden Oaks Hospital. She has experience overseeing 25+ employees, insurance benefits, registrations, intake calls, and revenue. She’s worked closely with patient accounts and utilization review department, as well.  At Oswego Wellness, it is Michelle’s mission to utilize her vast experience in the field and with insurance, so that our clients better understand their benefits and give them a sense of ease, so they may focus on themselves and treatment.
