Since 2013, Eden has worked as a Physician Assistant in a variety of settings to include: Psychiatric Outpatient Practice, Emergency Medicine, PHP, and IOP. Because of her passion for Perinatal Mental Health, she completed both the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry and became Certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International in 2019.
As a child, she was fascinated by the colorful and storied history of the women in her family and the struggle they experienced. When Eden became a mother herself, her calling was made even more pronounced. She is meant to assist mothers in need through this vulnerable transition. Whether you have a history of mental illness or are experiencing issues for the first time as you journey into or through motherhood, she is here to help. It is important to Eden to take the entire person - physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally - into account when formulating an individualized treatment plan.
Additionally, Eden Llewellyn is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. Eden completed her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana in 2011. In 2013, Eden completed her Masters in Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.
