Dehvin is an LCPC, with professional experience since 2014. He earned my Bachelors in Art from Albany State University in Albany Georgia; and my Master's in Art Therapy/Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His professional experience extends to working in the Illinois Department of Corrections, various hospital settings, community outpatient services, and crisis intervention settings.
Most recently he has been working as an outpatient therapist. He is experienced in helping clients with stress, anxiety, low motivation, self esteem, confidence building, and coping with life changes. The bulk of his population experience are with adults and older adolescents.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I take the approaches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
