Lauren Marasco is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Aurora University in 2020. Lauren has experience working in two clinical internships in private practice settings. 

Lauren is passionate about helping individuals navigate through challenges in life. She provides a safe, comforting space for clients to share, process, and grow. Lauren works collaboratively with clients to strengthen and shape the areas within their control and to find peace and acceptance for the things that are not. Lauren enjoys working with adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. Lauren supports individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, mood disorders, social skill development, behavior intervention, parenting issues, and life transitions. She strives to help individuals learn problem-solving skills to cope with difficult situations and help them gain greater confidence in their abilities. 

Lauren uses a blended approach to meet the individual where they are and individualized treatment plans to meet the client's needs. She uses a strengths-based approach and focuses on the individual’s inherent strengths to aid in recovery and empowerment. Additionally, Lauren incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness.
