Katelyn is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and her Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, hospital programs, and private practice. She previously worked in both the Eating Disorder and Self Injury Recovery Services programs at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with a broad range of presenting issues including eating disorders, self-harm, relational issues, trauma, life transitions, stress management, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder among others.  

Katelyn values building a therapeutic relationship with her clients through empathic dialogue while facilitating change by utilizing evidence-based therapies. Treatment modalities include Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
